The Process

Our puppy price is $3,000 with a non-refundable deposit of $500.  Repeat clients will receive a discount.  All puppies go home on a strict spay/neuter contract.  This must be completed within 12 months of age.  There is also a strict rehoming clause. If for any reason, you can no longer provide a loving home for your puppy, then we will take them back—no questions asked.  I stand behind and honor my dogs 100% and will always do what is best for them.

Check out the contract and deposit agreement below.

All Aurora Belle Doodle’s breeding dogs have gone through extensive health and genetic testing.  We also perform extensive temperament testing and age-appropriate curriculum starting as young as 3 days old. This is to better guarantee a quality life for the puppy you bring into your family and this is has no life-threatening illnesses or diseases.  This health testing is completed through Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), PennHIP or Dr. Wallace, Paw Print Genetics and we follow the Code of Ethics and Breed Standards set forth by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) and the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA).  Lastly, we are always working closely with our veterinarians and reproductive veterinarians to ensure proper health and breeding techniques are being used.

All of us here at Aurora Belle Doodles want all of our puppies to have their best healthy and happy life with you.  We want to ensure that we are doing everything possible to get these adorable companions off on the right start.

Throughout the process, we will update families with the litter’s progress via email and social media.  Individual photos will be taken every couple of weeks and provided via email along we more frequent litter photos and videos via social media.  Around days 52/53, we will perform our temperament testing.  These results will be shared with all families for viewing prior to puppy pick up day.  Your puppy will be chosen on go home day in the order deposits are received.  We do not let puppies get picked earlier as we strongly believe choosing your puppy based on personality/temperament and what best suits your home and lifestyle, rather than based on gender and color.

I’m a strong believer that our pets are connected to our life, and they will always find their way to us.  Because of this, I’ve always trusted in my own personal puppy pics and that the right puppy will find its way to me. It has never steered me wrong before.  I’ve had the puppy chosen for me by the breeder, picked our own puppy, and picked towards the end of the litter.  Each time, our family has ended up with the perfect puppy who was meant for us.  ☺

Within 3 business days of taking your puppy home, you will be required to take it to a vet for health clearance.  I also highly recommend beginning training at home until the puppy is fully vaccinated.  Then, it’s strongly advised to have enrolled in a puppy training class.  There are numerous online training programs available.  Some examples are BAXTER & Bella and Robin MacFarlane’s Virtual Puppy Preschool.

What is an Australian Labradoodle?

An Australian Labradoodle (ALD) is multigenerational and carries the DNA of the Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel and was first developed in the 1980s.  The primary focus was on temperament, coat quality and soundness through health testing.  There are three sizes recognized which are mini, medium and standard.  ALDs have low to non-shedding coats and which make them allergy friendly.  They have two types of coats either fleece or wool.  Australian Labradoodles can come in a variety of colors and patterns ranging from all shades of cream and caramel, apricot and red, silver and black and lavender and chocolate.  The patterns include solid, parti, tuxedo, sable, phantom, tri-phantom, and merle.  ALDs do need to be groomed regularly with recommended daily brushing to prevent their coat from matting.  This also helps to maintain their low odor and non-shedding.
